Biography
Peter received his PhD at the University of Sydney (USyd) under the Australian Postgraduate Award in industry (APAI) with project title “Carbon Coatings on Cutting Tools for Industrial Applications.” In 2004, Peter received the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Award (EACKA) which supported him to a Joint PhD program with the City University of Hong Kong. Upon completing his PhD studies in 2005, Peter took a post-doc position in the Microelectronics Division of the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He was a senior Research Fellow in the Nanoelectronics Laboratory at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Working on the “High Performance Polymer Devices”. Recently Peter completed an appointment in Physics/MQ photonics, working on an ARC Linkage project with partners at the ANU and BluGlass Pty Ltd. Currently, he is manager of the CVD Diamond Facility at Macquarie University, Optofab node.
