Biography
Richard Lwin has a BE (Aeronautical) and a PhD from the University of Sydney. His PhD topic concerned the optimization of mPOF fabrication and performance, and he is undoubtedly the leading expert on mPOF fabrication in the world. He has nearly 9 years experience in the production of mPOF, both practical and in terms of modelling and design. He was one of the winners of the Australian Museum Eureka Award for ICT Innovation, and is a founder of Kiriama PTY. LTD. He is now the working for The Australian National Fabrication Facilities as a Technical Officer at the OptoFab Fibre Draw Tower Facilities at The University of Sydney.
