Biography
Andrew Dzurak is the director of the ANFF NSW node and a Scientia Professor of Nanoelectronics in the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at UNSW. He is one of Australia’s leading experts in nanoelectronics and quantum computing technologies, has a PhD from the University of Cambridge and established Australia’s highest resolution electron-beam lithography capability at the UNSW, offering nanoelectronic device feature sizes down to 10 nanometers. Andrew with Bob Clark (formerly Australia’s Chief Defence Scientist) and other colleagues established the Centre for Quantum Computer Technology in January 2000 which is now the ARC Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology.
