Prof Chennupati Jagadish

Biography

Jagadish is the director of the ANFF ACT node, an Australian Laureate Fellow, a Distinguished Professor and is Head of Semiconductor Optoelectronics and Nanotechnology Group in the Department of Electronic Materials Engineering, Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Australian National University (ANU). He received the B.Sc. degree from the Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India, the M.Sc(Tech) degree from the Andhra University, Waltair, India and the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Delhi, India. He advises high tech industries in Australia and overseas in the field of photonics and has established a major research program in the field of optoelectronics and nanotechnology.
