Biography
rofessor Faraone has been the head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Western Australia since 1999 and has been with the department since 1986. His research interests have been in the area of non-volatile memory technology, and compound semiconductor materials and devices. In particular his interests are Mercury Cadmium Telluride materials and device technologies for infrared detector arrays, and Gallium Nitride technology for ultra-violet detectors and high speed/high power electronics.
