Biography
Dr Pace has more than 40 years of experience in the development and commercialization of advanced technologies in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and the food industries. He has long-term board level experience with both multi-billion and small cap companies. In 2003 Dr Pace was awarded a Centenary Medal by the Australian Government “for service to Australian society in research and development”, and in 2011 was awarded Director of the Year (corporate governance) by the San Diego Directors Forum. In addition he has held visiting academic positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Queensland. Dr Pace is an elected Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. Dr Pace is currently a director of ResMed, Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc. and formerly late 2015 Transition Therapeutics Inc. and Simavita Limited.
