Biography
FARON J. THIBODEAUX, 58, was named senior region vice president – Permian Region responsible for the company's operations in the Midland Basin and Central Basin Platform. He was previously region vice president – Permian Region since July 2014, and region vice president – Australia Region and managing director of Apache Energy, Ltd. since January 2013. Thibodeaux joined Apache in 2008 as the drilling manager in Egypt until 2011 when he transferred to Australia as director of Operations. Prior to joining Apache, Thibodeaux worked for Chevron and Unocal in various engineering and management positions. He holds a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
