Biography
Dr. Mohamed E. Salama, M.D., serves as the Chief of Hematopathology of Hematopathology of ARUP Laboratories, Inc. and served as its Assistant Medical Director. Dr. Salama served as a Member of Medical Advisory Board of Aperio Technologies, Inc. Dr. Salama is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. His area of interest spans all aspects of hematopathology, including morphology and specialized studies of bone marrow and lymph node. He completed his Hematopathology Fellowship at the University of New Mexico, as well as a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Stanford University. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology as well as hematopathology. Dr. Salama received his M.D. from Cairo University.
