Biography
Mr Attakumah has over twenty years experience in the mining industry spanning operations, project management and sustainability. He was a former Managing Director of AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi Mine and held various executive roles including General Manager for Engineering Services (Obuasi Mine) as well as Vice President of Sustainability for AngloGold Ashanti’s operations in Ghana. He has served as a First Vice President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and was also a member of the Governing Council of the Private Enterprise Federation of Ghana. Fred holds an Honours Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration.
