Paul Raftery

Biography

Paul is an experienced manager and senior finance executive with experience in business management, finance and accounting for the financial services, resources, power and contracting sectors. Paul has 25 years’ experience across the banking, resources and energy sectors. Previously Paul was Executive Manager – Finance and Investment with Thiess (Australia’s largest contract miner) and has previously been Treasurer of Shell Coal & Power International and Anglo Coal Australia as well as working in senior finance rolls at Shell Group. Paul was an Executive Director of First AsiaPacific Group providing finance advice in Australia, Indonesia and Singapore on resources projects and associated infrastructure and spent time based in Jakarta on secondment to United Mining Group in Indonesia as an Executive Director. In May 2012 Paul was seconded to Mining Services Leasing Group Limited (MSLG) as its Managing Director. In July 2013 Paul was also appointed as an Executive Director of Linchpin Capital Group Limited. He is based in Brisbane.
