Biography
Osama Lashine is the Business Unit Director for the Diabetes Business Unit at AstraZeneca Australia and New Zealand. In this role, he is responsible for the products in this portfolio and for the sales and marketing teams working with these therapies. Osama has been with AstraZeneca for the past 15 years and prior to joining AstraZeneca Australia and New Zealand he was the Business Unit Director-CVMD, Gulf Countries since January 2014. Post 2014, he was the Business Unit Director for Primary Care. Osama was awarded the best Global uptake for Forxiga (Dapagliflozin) and the best Diabetes performance within the International region in 2015.
Research Interest
Osama started his career with AstraZeneca as a sales representative in Saudi Arabia and continued in various roles of increaseing responsibility in sales and marketing. Qualifications Osama holds an honours Pharmacy degree from Cairo University as well as a Business & Marketing Diploma from the American University in Cairo.
