Biography
James Sharkey is the Director of Market Access, External Affairs and Legal. James joined AstraZeneca in 2012 in the role of Legal Director for Australia and New Zealand. Since joining AstraZeneca, James has added significant value across the entire organisation, combining his extensive expertise in the legal field with his research and sales background. Prior to joining the organisiation, James was a Business Development and Licensing Manager for Sandoz Asia Pacific, and the Head of Legal for Sandoz Australia and New Zealand. Before commecing his law career with Mallesons Stephen Jacques, James was a Research Scientist at Macquarie University and a Sales Representative at Crown Scientific.
