Biography
Mark is an engineer with over 30 years' experience in the global mining industry. His experience includes technical, consulting and managerial roles across most commodities and geographies. Mark is the Managing Director of Optiro, an advisory services firm that consults world-wide to mining and exploration companies on mine establishment and optimisation and he is the Chairman of Hazelwood Resources, a tungsten producer with production facilities in Vietnam and mining projects in Australia. Mark has spent 15 years in the management of consulting services to the mining sector, He also has experience in mining equipment supply and manufacturing as well as working as an engineer in mining operations.
