Biography
Dr.Andrew Negri is a Principal Research Scientist. He did PhD (Chemistry) RMIT University, Australia in 1993. Current research focuses on understanding the combined effects of pollution and climate change on tropical marine organisms. Pollutants of interest include pesticides, metals, POPs, petroleum products and sediments from dredging, while the marine organisms studied include all of the life history stages of coral, micro and macroalgae, sponges and fish. I also hold the position of Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Marine and Tropical Biology at James Cook University.
