Biography
Dr.Christian Lonborg is a Research Scientist in the Sustainable Coastal Ecosystems and Industries in Tropical Australia program. His background is in biological and chemical oceanography. My current research interests fall within the broad topics of marine microbes and water quality with a special emphasis on coastal and shelf waters. Since obtaining he PhD in 2009, in which I investigated microbial degradation of dissolved organic matter, he used my skills in a number of different research areas, including topics spanning from viral ecology to the management of mussel farms.
