Biography
Dr. Line K Bay is Senior Research Scientist and Team Leader at AIMS, she holds PhD in Population Genetics, JCU, Townsville in 2006 and BSc in Marine Biology, JCU, Townsville in 2006. She worked as Chair of Science Advisory Panel for Reef Habitat Restoration in 2016.Her research integrates physiological, genetic and genomic data to understand how corals interact with their environment. In particular, I am interested in the rates and mechanisms of physiological acclimatisation, and the potential for genetic adaptation in response to climate and ocean change.
