Biography
Sarah Ballantyne is currently the Quality Manager at ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) with responsibilities covering Quality and Environmental certifications, as well as GMP oversight through ANSTO’s GMP areas. Sarah has spent 10 years at ANSTO mainly in ANSTO Health as the Compliance and Quality Manager. ANSTO manufactures sterile radiopharmaceuticals as well as bulk isotopes. Sarah spent 3 years as the Executive Officer of PETNET Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANSTO and is currently a Director of ANM, a subsidiary of ANSTO. Prior to joining ANSTO Sarah spent a number of years with Eli Lilly Australia in roles covering production, engineering, quality, safety and environment. Sarah has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, a Master of Commerce in Industrial relations and is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
