Biography
Taherian Fard perused her Masters of Science in Bioinformatics from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2010. Her Masters projects was mainly focused on genome assembly and annotation of a newly sequenced regions of Burkholderia pseudomallei genome, which was unique to the strain, isolated from Malaysia and was not present in the reference sequence. In 2012, Dr Taherian Fard was awarded a full-bright scholarship from the University of Queensland to peruse a PhD in Computational Biology.
