Biography
His major areas of practice are infrastructure and associated infrastructure, project and acquisition financings. Alexander works with consortiums, arrangers, financiers, borrowers and investors on projects, PPP/infrastructure, and also on acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. Alexander was named as a leading lawyer for Infrastructure & Construction by Best Lawyers 2015 and 2016 and he also led the transaction team that was awarded the Advisory Excellence Award at this year’s Infrastructure Partnerships Australia Awards for its work on the Northern Beaches Hospital PPP with the NSW Government and Healthscope. Alexander has been named as the IFLR1000’s Rising Star Lawyer for Project Finance and Banking since 2013, for Energy, Resources and Infrastructure from 2015, and was named a Rising Star for Financial and Corporate in 2017. Alexander has a Master of Laws (International) and a Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from FINSIA/Kaplan. He recently completed the Infrastructure in a Market Economy course at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
