Lisa Lennon

Biography

 Lisa practises primarily in the brand protection and enforcement space specialising in Trade Marks, Designs and Domain Name law. Lisa leads the Trade Marks/Registered IP Team and is a registered Trade Mark Attorney. Lisa acts for a number of market leading brands in the on-line space and across different commercial sectors including FMCG, banking and finance, energy and resources, infrastructure, technology/telecommunications, music and entertainment, gaming and fashion. Lisa also has extensive experience in advising clients in relation to commercial IP issues including providing licensing and commercialisation advice across various patented technologies including medical devices, software and telecommunications apparatus and systems. Lisa has also assisted a number of clients in relation to their investment and licensing arrangements for university owned patented technologies. Lisa routinely advises on domain name issues such as cybersquatting, pre-emptive registrations and on-line dispute resolution. Lisa is listed as a recommended lawyer for Intellectual Property in Chambers Asia Pacific, Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Who’s Who Legal, Asialaw and WTR 1000. World Trademark Review 2017 praises Lisa for being “a straight shooter who gives superb advice.” Lisa is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand, the International Trade Mark Association (INTA) and has participated in various panels/committees on domain name issues including the INTA Domain Name Committee and auDA’s Name Policy Panel.  Lisa is currently a Sub-Committee Chair on the INTA Emerging Issues Committee.
