Biography
Cardiologist Dr Alex Voskoboinik graduated Monash University Medical School in 2008 with First Class Honors and was the dux of his graduating year level. He won six academic prizes during his medical training. He completed his cardiology advanced training at The Alfred Hospital in 2015. Alex is currently undertaking a PhD at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Research Institute researching the impact of alcohol on atrial fibrillation. He is the recipient of an NHMRC and National Heart Foundation co-funded scholarship and the Baker Institute’s Bright Sparks scholarship. He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at several international cardiology conferences.
