Biography
Associate Professor Justin Mariani is a consultant cardiologist and interventional heart failure specialist at the Alfred Hospital, and Research Fellow within the Heart Failure Research Group. He has clinical and research interest in heart failure specifically related to haemodynamics and cardiac physiology, cardiac devices and pacing, and utilisation of technology and monitoring in heart failure management. He undertook his PhD at the Baker Institute and Monash University with David Kaye in the areas of gene and cellular therapy for heart failure, and he is an adjunct Associate Professor in the Central Clinical School, Monash University.
