Biography
Habtamu Beyene holds a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology (2007) from Jimma University and a MSc (2011) from Addis Ababa University. Since 2011 Habtamu has been an assistant lecturer and full time lecturer at University levels. His major responsibilities were teaching, research activities and provision of clinical and community services. Habtamu has participated in a number of research projects and is the author of more than 7 scientific papers. He is a member of the Ethiopian medical laboratory association and public health associations. He is currently a PhD student at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, working on lipid profiling for future risk prediction of type 2 diabetes.
