Daniel Botha

Biography

Daniel is a partner at BDO Johannesburg's audit division and has 19 years' experience, 9 of which are in external audit assurance. He joined BDO in 2005, after 10 years in commerce as a financial manager at some reputable local and multi-national groups. He gained valuable experience over this time both locally and abroad while seconded to our offices in Sydney. He prides himself on being business minded and practical while remaining technically proficient and has obtained specialised knowledge in business valuations and the short-term insurance industry. Daniel has a keen interest in the financial services industry and serves on SAICA's sector project group for the medical scheme industry and counts several financial service providers as present and former clients.
