Biography
Michael Weniger holds a degree as Graduate Engineer Biotechnology/Biochemistry. Formerly he was Project Leader and Senior Engineer Process Development at Rhein Biotech GmbH. He was involved in successful technology transfer of cGMP production processes to South America, Korea and Egypt. His experience are in the field of up- and downstream processing of bacterial processes, optimization of fermentation processes with subsequent development of protein isolation and purification strategies until generation of purified final bulk. He has experience in cGMP production of a Phase IIIa product and deep know how in qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ) and validation (PQ, cleaning validation) of equipment and process with the appropriate cGMP documentation.
