Biography
Role: Provide technical expertise to BioGill channel partners in North America as well as managing opportunities for the technology in the Food & Beverage sector including breweries & candy producers. Profile: 30+ years working at The Dow Chemical Company, progressing to a Fellow in Dow Water & Process Solutions R&D, responsible for applications development and technology scouting in water and wastewater markets. Past president of the Instrumentation Testing Association and for last 15 years holding leadership roles in the Water Environment Federation (WEF). Author or co-author of over 300 internal research reports, over 30 external publications and 6 patents. High level experience in technology assessment with demonstrated strengths in the areas of wastewater treatment, analytical chemistry, process problem solving, communications and leadership. A specialist in biological treatment technologies, advanced oxidation, fine particle filtration, forward osmosis and next generation wastewater treatment solutions that deliver low footprint and low energy treatment. BS Degree in Chemistry from Whitworth University, an MS degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Idaho and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Leipzig.
