Biography
Marie immigrated to Australia after graduating from the University of Montpellier II in 1995 with a PhD in semiconductor-related electrical noise measurements. She was responsible for developing various quality check protocols for ‘multi-quantum well avalanche photodiodes’ and subsequently established a theory on conduction before the onset of multiplication in multi-quantum well devices, applicable for photodiodes and lasers.
