Biography
Lawrence Boo teaches International Commercial Arbitration at Bond. He is also an adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore and a Visiting Professor at Wuhan University School of Law (China). He is on the panel of numerous international arbitral institutions including the AAA, CIETAC, SIAC and ACICA. He has sat as arbitrator in more than 160 cases and written numerous awards. His cases include those administered by the ICC, LCIA, CIETAC, SIAC, HKIAC and ad hoc arbitrations. He has also mediated over 60 commercial disputes. Prof Boo has written extensively on ADR and is the author of Halsbury's Laws of Singapore Volume 2 - Arbitration (Lexis-Nexis 1998, 2003 and 2007 Re-issue) and the chapter on Singapore in the book International Handbook on Commercial Arbitration (Kluwer 1996 and 2002 Supplement).
