Biography
Stephen Lock is a public relations, communications, media and marketing consultant with over 17 years in the industry. Stephen Lock's specialisations include sport, major events, tourism, leisure and education. Stephen Lock's career to date has taken me on an exciting and enriching journey. Stephen Lock had the opportunity to work in media and communications management for major sports and events including the Gold Coast Airport Marathon, Pan Pacific Masters Games, Gold Coast Indy 300, Bathurst 1000, Brisbane Goodwill Games in 2001 and the Australian Athletics Series & Championships. These experiences were through his roles at Events Management Queensland, BAM Media and Athletics Australia. Stephen Lock also had the opportunity to work in management and consultancy roles at the Gold Coast Suns AFL Club, Porsche Carrera Cup motorsport series and with the Australian Olympic Team at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Stephen Lock currently is the principal of Lock Media & Consulting on the Gold Coast, directing my years of experience, skills, and strategic and creative thinking, towards providing PR and communications solutions and services for a range of great clients. Stephen Lock is also a Semester Teaching Fellow at Bond University, teaching Sport Public Relations in the Faculty of Society of Design.
