Biography
Erica is nurse with a background in paediatrics and more recently as a Research Nurse with the Department of Infectious Diseases, Alfred Health. Erica returned to Melbourne in July 2017, after six months in Daru, Papua New Guinea where she volunteered as a Clinical Nurse Educator, supporting the training and education of nurses and community health workers as a part of Burnet’s RID-TB program.
Research Interest
Erica is now supporting the work of the Tuberculosis Elimination Working Group as a Research Assistant, working to reduce the impact of drug resistant TB in Western Province, PNG.
