Biography
Dr. Hla Htay has been working with Burnet Institute Myanmar since 2006. After his graduation from Institute of Medicine (1) in Yangon, Myanmar, he started his career to provide medical assistance to needy people in very remote areas of Mon and Karen States, specifically in the Thai-Burmese border region by working with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Myanmar. He has risked his life for humanitarian assistance in such insecure and difficult-to-access villages.
