Biography
Dr Rehana Di Rico is a Public Health Registrar, working within the Behaviours and Health Risks program at the Burnet Institute.
Research Interest
Rehana is also interested in health policy and systems research and she has been involved in numerous in-hospital committees and working groups to improve organisational process, patient experience and provision of evidenced based care. Rehana’s work at The Burnet Institute primarily focuses on People Who Inject Drugs within the Aboriginal community and explores available harm minimisation strategies for this group. She is also working with the MIX cohort study to explore health system utilisation in the injecting drug using community. Using data from the Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll survey, she will explore alcohol related harms in youths.
