Biography
Shelley has a background in nursing, having worked in both clinical and community settings for over a decade, combined with over 10 years experience in project development, research and support worker roles in the youth health sector, and more recently, three years in research roles in Australia and Cambodia. Shelley has experience in qualitative data analysis and management, project development and evaluation, and the education and empowerment of young people in health and sexuality.
Research Interest
Shelley’s interests include injecting drug use, prisons, blood borne viruses, international health, human rights, young people’s sexual health and marginalised groups. Currently Shelley is a research assistant within the Centre for Research Excellence into Injecting Drug Use (CREIDU).
