Biography
Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering and mathematics at the University of Melbourne in 2016. She is currently an Honours student at Burnet Institute and the University of Melbourne, where her research is focused on performing an epidemiological assessment of tuberculosis and HIV in South Africa, with the aim of maximising the impact of current TB funding.
Research Interest
Her project aims to optimise funding and resource allocations across both HIV and TB in South Africa, and identify disease areas where additional investment in health would provide the greatest impacts. This project combines Stephanie’s background in mathematical modelling and operations research with her interests in public health, particularly in the development of health policy.
