Biography
Dr Kris Waddington completed his PhD at the University of Western Australia in 2008 at which time Kris took on a role as Senior Research Fellow at UWA where he applied specialist techniques developed in the university to improve environmental impact assessments undertaken by industry. This included providing specialist advice and improving environmental outcomes on a number of major resource projects including the Pluto, Gorgon and Wheatstone projects. Upon leaving UWA, Kris worked in an environmental consultancy and managed state and federal environmental approvals processes. Kris has been with Buru Energy since mid-2012 and helped deliver the environmental approvals for our fraccing program as well as working closely with Traditional Owners including the Yungngora (Noonkanbah) and Yawuru groups.
