Biography
Simon has been advising local and multinational companies for more than 30 years. He was previously Managing Director of NM Rothschild & Sons (Australia) Melbourne operations and its national private equity business from 1995 to 2002. Prior to that Simon was Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen’s Audit & Business Advisory practice in Australasia. Simon was also Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen’s Corporate Finance practice in Melbourne. Simon’s experience spans a large number of private and public enterprises. His skills focus on general strategic advice, mergers, acquisitions and divestments, transaction structuring, valuations and due diligence. He has advised across many industries abut has particular knowledge and expertise in the media, professional services, information technology and food and beverage sectors. He was educated in England at Kings School Canterbury and Worcester College Oxford, and is a qualified chartered accountant. Simon is a founding director of Canterbury Partners, lead independent director at Computershare Ltd, and chairman of Melbourne It ltd and the advisory boards of MAB Ltd and the Trawalla Group.
