Biography
Dr. Masakuni Yamamoto, PhD, is Global Head of R&D at Advangen. Previously Dr Yamamoto worked as a research scientist in the Biotechnology division of Shin-Etsu Chemical Company, and then as Head of Cosmetic Ingredient Development division of Matsumoto Trading Company, Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo (TODAI) and his thesis work was performed at Université Louis Pasteur, France. Dr Yamamoto’s research has been published in high ranking journals including Angewandte Chemie, Biochemistry, and Chemistry. He is a member of Japanese Cosmetic Science Society and the Japan Hair Science Association.
