Biography
After graduating from Sydney University in Mechanical Engineering, Stephen worked for Ricegrowers Co-operative Mills where he led a number of successful projects involving process design and development. As Operations Manager with this organisation, he also instigated major organisational changes that resulted in significant improvements in productivity and profitability. For the past 24 years, Stephen has been responsible for establishing, developing and managing two highly successful business ventures that resulted in the development of a range of innovative functional food products and processes. Both businesses were eventually divested after unsolicited approaches by major players in the food industry. The key skills that Stephen brings to Ceramisphere as its Chairman and majority shareholder, include process and product development, process scale-up, business development, product marketing, and experience in commercial negotiations. He also has extensive experience in the successful commercialization of technology.
