Biography
Scott Kleinman joined Apollo Global Management, in 1996 and is currently the Private Equity lead partner. As a senior partner, he is also a member of Apollo’s Senior Management Committee. For the past decade, Mr. Kleinman has focused on Apollo’s cyclical industrial businesses, including companies in the chemicals, forest products and industrial industries. Prior to joining Apollo in 1996, Mr. Kleinman was employed by Smith Barney Inc., in its Investment Banking Division. Mr. Kleinman serves on the Board of Directors for Momentive Performance Materials Holdings LLC and Verso Corporation. Mr. Kleinman received a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business, respectively, graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
