Biography
Gretchen is the Associate Professor of Teaching and Learning at the School of Education. She currently lectures in various units in teacher education. Gretchen completed her PhD at University of South Australia in 2007. She worked at the University of South Australia, Flinders University of South Australia and Education Network Australia between 2003 and 2009. In 2009 she joined Charles Darwin University. Gretchen is also a registered research supervisor at Charles Darwin University. She is supervising master by research and doctor students in areas of ICT in education and cultural studies.
Research Interest
Gretchen's current research includes: Fourth year pre-service teacher mentors: A firsthand guide to reducing stress in first year teaching students Pre-Service Teachers' Stress and Assessment Design Chinese university lecturer's teaching approaches after their studying in Australia Use of iPad and teaching pedagogie.
