Biography
Allauddin Siddiqi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences at Charles Sturt University. After graduating from Pakistan, he moved to Cape Town South Africa, where he did his Postgraduate Diploma and Master with cum laude. Dr Siddiqi then completed two fellowships in Cranio-Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery from Germany from the International Association of Bone Research at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, and AO Cranio- Maxillofacial from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2008 and 2009 respectively. After the fellowships, he moved to New Zealand where he attained his PhD in Oral Implantology from the University of Otago. He has published over 20 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and has research collaborations and networks with different research groups and implant companies in Germany, South Africa, Pakistan and New Zealand. He has conducted two randomised controlled clinical trials, numerous in vivo and in vitro studies.
