Biography
Andrew Kilgour is a clinical radiographer with 34 years experience. He has worked in Sydney and regional areas, and been senior of Angiography and Fluoroscopy, PACS administrator, student supervisor, and professional development manager. He has extensive experience in trauma radiography and CT. He left full time clinical employment in 2007, and worked as Clinical Coordinator and Associate Lecturer in Work Integrated Learning at University of Sydney for 5.5 years, before taking on his current role in February 2013. He still works as a casual radiographer at Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital.His research interests are in the area of assessment of workplace learning, and he is currently completing a PhD thesis on this topic. He teaches an introductory topic in first year of the Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science, Professional Fundamentals, and teaches radiographic positioning in second year. He manages the clinical placement program for medical imaging students for the entire four years of the course. Top
