Biography
Brenda holds two doctorate degrees and is an CSU Alumna, having received her first PhD from the School of Public Health at Charles Sturt University for studies on a comparative analysis and public health prevention programming in the Mariana Islands, and receiving her second PhD from Curtin University, Centre for International Health, for studies on risk behaviours for STIs and HIV in the Northern Mariana Islands. She has been involved with many aspects of health care for the past thirty years (having started when she was just a teenager volunteering with a country ambulance service) and has since lived and worked all over Australia and the world.
