Biography
Dr Brendon Hyndman is a Course Director and Senior Lecturer at Charles Sturt University. He has previously worked in the School of Education at both Southern Cross University and Charles Darwin University with roles that have included the Manager of the Bachelor of Teaching & Learning (Pre-service), Chair of School Board (Education) and Lecturing roles in Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) across several units in primary and secondary school teacher education. Dr Hyndman has widespread experience both advancing (as a researcher) and applying educational knowledge (as a qualified & registered school teacher) across a diverse range of primary, secondary and tertiary settings. He has been involved in teacher education since 2009. Since 2012, he has generated an extensive list of high quality/impact publications. He is the editor and primary author of the book 'Contemporary school playground strategies for healthy students' and his PhD included the internationally recognised Lunchtime Enjoyment Activity and Play (LEAP) school intervention.
