Biography
Chrys Gunasekara has been a senior academic at several universities, in the Management and HRM disciplines. His research has centred on innovation studies, focusing on the factors that explain variation in the innovative performance of organisations, and the role of universities in knowledge transfer and innovation. Chrys has published extensively, including in several highly ranked international journals; and has consulted to private and public organisations in strategic planning, change management and human resource management. Prior to his academic career, Dr Gunasekara worked in human resource management, general management, and accounting, in public and private sector organisations. Chrys holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, Australia; Master of Business from Charles Sturt University, NSW Australia; and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Queensland Australia.
