Biography
Ann's doctoral dissertation was concerned with moral distress in community service workers. The ethical dimensions of work, and the stresses related to compromise particularly in altruistic professions, are the focus of her teaching, writing and research. She is a health sociologist and bio medical ethicist teaching in the Bachelor of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) at Bathurst. Her teaching also focuses on professional, ethical and social dimensions of allied health fields of practice.
Research Interest
Ann came to CSU initially as a research fellow for a National Carrick Institute project which looked at innovation in paramedic education. She was also the research associate for a multi-campus research project into academic workloads at UWS.
