Biography
Dr Robinson joined the School of Biomedical Sciences in 2005 as a Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science at the Orange campus. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons I) degree from the University of Sydney (1983) and a PhD (1989) for research conducted within the Pharmacy Department of the University of Sydney, which was an investigation of the in vivo metabolic activation of carcinogenic polycyclic aza-aromatic hydrocarbons. Dr Robinson is a registered pharmacist and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry in product development and regulatory affairs roles. She taught in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney (Orange) prior to the transfer to CSU. Her teaching areas include pharmaceutics, pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical chemistry and toxicology.
Research Interest
r Robinson is involved in a number of practice based research areas including complementary medicines, such as olive leaf extract, medication dispensing error and pharmaceutics areas such as dose form stability. Other areas of interest including teaching methodology.
