Biography
Jennifer holds a BSc majoring in Microbiology, Biotechnology and Biochemistry; a Grad Cert and Grad Dip in Operations and Marketing; and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment. She is a Qualified Practicing Market Researcher certified by the Australian Social and Market Research Society. Jennifer started her working life as a microbiologist at Tooths Brewery in Sydney. She then moved on to become Technical Manager at SPC before joining Uncle Tobys as Research and Development Manager. In her ten years with Uncle Tobys/GF she held several roles including Quality Leadership and Manufacturing Benchmarking. In her role as Corporate Consumer Sciences and Insights Manager for Goodman Fielder she was involved with conducting marketing and sensory research in many different regions of the world and developing insight and brand visions from the information to assist R&D, Operations, Sales and Marketing. After leaving GF Jennifer was General Manager of Hadar Homes. During her time at Hadar she reorganised and rebranded the business and trained and developed staff. Jennifer has been involved with many community and business groups. She is currently the Deputy Chair of Regional Development Australia Murray, a member of the Red Gum Environmental Trust Technical Committee, Deputy Chair Capri Waters, and Coordinator of the Yarrawonga Mulwala Chamber of Commerce. Jennifer was privileged to be named as finalist in the 2007 Telstra Business Women's Awards in the Business Innovation Category, and the Hudson Private and Corporate Sector Category. Also in 2007 she was named the Victorian Winner of the Telstra Business Women of the Year, in the same sector, and was awarded Business Woman of the Year 2004 by Business and Professional Women's International Albury Chapter. Currently Jennifer runs her own business Creativeworkz where she enjoys helping people develop themselves and their businesses. She has also worked on many projects in local government. She is a business owner in a multi-botanical health drink called Exfuze. Jennifer has spent more than 28 years in leadership positions that have crossed a wide variety of industries and specialities. She has the knowledge and passion to engage people through a commitment to growth of others by demonstrating leadership with a philosophy of collaboration, trust and ethical use of power.
