Biography
Jo is a registered nurse with 25 years of clinical experience. She has held senior nursing management and executive leadership positions in both private and public hospitals in Victoria, including at The Royal Melbourne, St Vincent's Private, The Alfred and St John of God Geelong. Her clinical career has been diverse, including speciality practice areas of vascular, plastics, palliative and critical care nursing. Jo was a clinical nurse specialist in the area of burns, trauma and neuroscience in her critical care nursing role at The Alfred. This lead to her taking a position as clinical educator in these speciality areas, and subsequently this supported a transition into academic and higher education in 2001.
