Biography
Jozette Dellemain migrated from the Netherlands and grew up in a large family in a small town. After qualifying as a registered nurse completed a degree majoring in Psychology through the University of New England while simultaneously undertaking qualifications in Social Gerontology (Melbourne), Audiometry (Sydney), Family Therapy (Melbourne) and Women's Health (Sydney). She later completed a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master in Social Work at La Trobe University. Jozette has had an eclectic employment history including a submission writer, homelessness project manager, community development officer, disability advocacy, coordinator of rehabilitation services, palliative care case manager, a provider of clinical supervision for case management field staff, HACC Services Manager in local government, a social worker at Centrelink and community development in the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). Jozette has authored a number of CSU subjects including in leisure and health, Facilitating Positive Behaviours, dementia, gerontological research and palliative care. Apart from her part time role at CSU Jozette works at La Trobe University where she is involved in online subject delivery and design.
